Welcome Reception
Date: Sunday, June 11
Time: 19:00-20:30
Place: Exhibition hall at the venue Svenska Mässan
Price: Included for delegates (member, non-member and young professionals), exhibitors, and accompanying persons. Pre-registration is mandatory.
Mingle and meet with old and new colleagues during the welcome reception and opening of the exhibition at the conference venue. The reception is hosted by the City of Gothenburg and Region Västra Götaland. The Welcome reception includes light finger food, beverage, and entertainment.
Cultural Evening
Date: Tuesday 13 June
Place: Liseberg, Hamnområdet “the Harbour Area”, use your badge to enter via the Main Entrance.
Liseberg is located opposite the Hotel Gothia Towers.
Time: 19:00-21:30 (you can enter the park from 13:00 using your conference badge)
Price: Included for delegates (member, non-member, symposium and young professionals) and accompanying persons.
Pre-registration is mandatory.
Celebrate a bit of Swedish Midsummer and Mingle with drinks, food and entertainment at Liseberg amusement park in the area of the park called “the Harbour area” which is exclusive for ICOLD attendees this evening. Liseberg is a park for everyone. Since 1923 we have brought millions of people together to have fun. The park offers adventure, music, games, good food and beautiful gardens. With rides and attractions, cuddly rabbits, food, drink and entertainment on stages and at the theatre, Liseberg offers something for everyone all year round. Put simply, the most fun in Scandinavia is found in Gothenburg! As a delegate registered for the cultural evening you have access to visit the rest of the park before and after the event.
How to find your way to the ICOLD Cultural Evening Event in the park
Liseberg is located opposite the main entrance of the Hotel Gothia Towers.
The area in the park where the Cultural evening takes place is called “Hamnsområdet” which means the Harbour Area. Please see the picture of the park where the area is located.
Enter the park via the main entrance and show your badge (the park is open from 13:00 and free entrance to the park is included via the conference badge if you are registered for the Cultural Evening Event).
The event starts at 19.00, not earlier.
Please note that there are no attractions included, only free entrance to the park.
Farewell Dinner
Date: Thursday 15 June
Time: 19:00 – 23:00
Place: Congress Hall, Svenska Mässan
Price: Included for delegates (member, non-member, and young professionals) and accompanying persons. Pre-registration is mandatory.
The ICOLD 2023 Farewell Dinner includes a 3-course dinner, beverages, and entertainment.
