A number of social tours have been arranged for both delegates and accompanying persons to explore and enjoy your stay in Gothenburg and its surroundings.

Brunch Cruise in Gothenburg

Archipelago brunch with M/S Göteborg

M/S Göteborg is a beautiful boat built in 1915, the historical atmosphere in the specious dining area allows you to enjoy the stunning scenery and first-class service.
The upper deck has a lounge and a large sun deck that offers a unique view while the boat cruises through the archipelago. The cruise takes us past well-known islands, including Styrsö, Donsö and Brännö.

On the buffet table you will find everything from salmon and archipelago classical herrings to homemade meatballs, cheese platter and fresh salads. You have plenty of time to enjoy the delights – but make sure to leave some room for the desserts.

Guided boat tour of Gothenburg with the Paddan boats (English)

Step aboard our Paddan sightseeing boat in the centre of the city at Kungsportsplatsen. See the old moat and canals that date from the 17th century while learning about the history of Gothenburg’s construction and defence. The classic city tour on the Paddan boats shows you the beauty of Gothenburg from a waterside perspective. The tour takes you under 20 bridges and out to the harbour.

This guided boat tour with Paddan continues beneath Gothenburg’s many low bridges, which brings us out into the fascinating harbour with traditional shipyards, the fishing harbour, new and old housing, expanding commercial and academic sites and maritime museum.
